15 Goals for 2015

“Make New Year’s goals. Dig within and discover what you would like to have happen in your life this year. This helps you do your part. It is an affirmation that you’re interested in fully living life in the year to come.”

Taking a peek back at June and my 9 Goals for the Remainder of 2014, I am happy to say I succeeded in 4 of my stated goals. Even though this is not half of my plans I am happy because this summer grew to become far crazier than ever expected. I was promoted at Shadowland and began working events every weekend, thus ending any possibility for some of my goals. I succeeded with buying a new car, joining a yoga class (though I only attended for a few weeks before my promotion), went skydiving, and spent an entire day on the beach without ever accessing technology. My only regret is not getting a tattoo, but that is something I can always pursue in the future.

It is now 2015, though, and I need to reassess my life and set goals for this coming year. I’m not big on resolutions as I stated before, but here are 15 goals I have for this year:

  1. Run at least one race a month
  2. Focus on eliminating my debts
  3. Go Paleo for a month
  4. Learn mixology
  5. Enroll in a course of something new
  6. Take a spontaneous road trip
  7. Get a tattoo
  8. Participate in something new (skiing, martial arts?)
  9. See Miranda Lambert in concert
  10. Spend more time with nature
  11. Volunteer with an organization consistently
  12. Join a Bible class
  13. Make a point to strengthen friendships
  14. Attend either a murder mystery dinner or masquerade
  15. Write at least 4 posts a month on Peonies ‘n Mint

So I guess a few are a lot more specific than others, but that’s what I have set to do this year. Wish me luck!
